​Georgia Strimenos is the 22-year-old daughter of George and Jenny Strimenos. She grew up in the beautiful foothills of Larkspur, Colorado with her older brother, Austin, and many four-legged friends. She was an active member of 4-H for 8 years, showing horses, alpacas, and poultry. 4-H was a catalyst for her love of rodeo and working with people. It led her to earn a degree in communications from the University of Wyoming, where she also competed in English and Western events on the equestrian team in the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association. The equestrian team was especially important to her, because it was an opportunity to compete in multiple disciplines on a variety of horses. 
 
Being a 1st generation cowgirl, Georgia has seen firsthand how anyone, regardless of background, can embrace the western lifestyle. It is her mission to share with everyone she meets, the unique parts of the West that go beyond farming, ranching, riding, and roping. The Code of the West has been instilled in Georgia through countless people in her community, and she plans to teach this to others within her beautiful home state of Colorado.
 
Georgia is honored and excited to share this message and serve her community as Miss Rodeo Colorado 2024.
